Cork Screw Scarf

This scarf is a lot of fun to knit and to wear. It consists of a number of independent sections that are then twisted to create this interesting cork screw effect. It is completed with 2 different sets of fringes: one plain and the other made up of twisted fringes.

Gauge 15 sts and 40 rows = 4" in garter stitch.

Yarn Helen Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca working 2 strands or yarn held together throughout -- 5 skeins -- 920 yards (840 meters).

Needle size US 7 (4.5 mm).
